Summary

Overall it's good, but gets boring and repetitive. I don't think it's really a 10/10 game that all these review sites give it. Story-line is "blah" without really being inspiring or drawing you in to play/finish the game like other RPG's or FPS's. I did play the heck out of the game for a few weeks.

Strength

Open maps allowing you to go anywhere and do almost anything.
A lot of side details - cars, tv shows, radio shows, comedy club shows, etc...nice details.

Weakness

- Story-line started off interesting and with a purpose, but they lose focus on "Niko's" goal.
- Having to drive from one end of the city to the other end of the city gets monotonous especially if you died/failed in a mission.
- Hvaing to get on a "speed boat" with Brucie and drive all around the island and then back for no reason....
- Long, boring story line...I just couldn't be bothered to finish it.
- Lack of goals or skill enhancements like in other RPG's. Do head-shots really make any difference or get you anything other than some pointless achievement in Xbox live?
- I'm no saint in terms of my vocubulary, but too much pointless swearing in it.
- sloppy character movement
- I could go on.
